Easy Voip - Thursday, November 05, 2009

Did you know you can easily add a VOIP low cost system to your current PABX. You do not even need to change the way you make phone calls. Your PABX supplier probably will not tell you this, but if you remove 2 of you incoming lines (say lines 8 and 9), you can replace them with a Linksys SPA 3102 device which connects to you internet. So now if you make an outgoing call, select line 8 or 9, and it will go out as a low cost VOIP call. Savings are that you no longer need to pay line rental on those 2 lines, costs are that you need to sign up with a VOIP supplier such as WORLDDIALPOINT, but they only charge 10 cents a call anywhere on Australia untimed. Similar savings are possible to mobile phone calls. Yes you can have a go at DIY, or we can configure it for you. A Linksys SPA 3102 is about $100.00

When the trial version of GFI MailEssentials expires, the disclaimers tool will not time out allowing continued use of this functionality.

People do reply to email spam! - Monday, August 17, 2009

I sometimes wonder how spammers can be so successful in what they do. They send out millions of emails every day promising the world – get rich offers, a pile of cash waiting just for you to claim ownership, pills and creams that work wonders, financial advice and dozens of other schemes and offers. Junk, literally.
